Biking in Vermont: Windham & Covered Bridges
The area of Vermont we visit on this tour is defined by small villages with white steeples rising above tree-lined streets, peaceful valleys, and winding country roads. We crisscross numerous brooks, streams and rivers, and pass through many of the local historic covered bridges that are concentrated in this region.
This tour features two great inns. The Inn at Cranberry Farm is located on 60 rolling acres of lovely hillside overlooking the Williams River. The "country elegant" Windham Hill Inn is located in a spectacular rural setting that includes lovely wooded paths, stone walls bordered by flowers, and long views into the surrounding valleys.
