Discover Nepal with World Expeditions
This is our most popular introduction to trekking in the Everest region. A trek that leads through the famous Buddhist villages and monasteries of the Sherpa people while affording unparalleled views of some of the world's highest peaks.
The highlights of this trip are the days spent trekking above Namche Bazaar. Here we get beyond the established trails to our alpine camp beneath the awesome flanks of Ama Dablam. From our spectacular vantage point we gain a breathtaking 360 degree mountain panorama that culminates in the distinctive summit of Everest looming above the Nuptse-Lhotse Wall.
A further dimension to our trek is a visit to the Sherpa villages of Khunde and Khumjung where we visit some of Sir Edmund Hillary's projects established through the Himalayan Trust.
About World Expeditions
World Expeditions is one of the world's oldest adventure travel companies. Originating as a Himalayan trekking company in 1975, we have developed into one of the leading authorities in the field of adventure tourism. Our product range has expanded significantly since we first offered trips to Nepal and India in the 70's. We now cover all continents, with trips ranging from adventure touring to introductory trekking and cycling adventures, to sea kayaking and mountaineering trips. We have earned this reputation through the unique experiences that we provide in the field, through our environmental philosophy of minimal impact travel, and for the very special quality of giving something back to the communities we visit.
