Winter Adventures at Vista Verde Ranch
Vista Verde turns into to "Vista Blanca" as the snow falls in winter and offers a variety of fun ways to enjoy this beautiful part of the West.
Discover the backcountry on a guided or self-guided snowshoe trip. Head out on cross country skis and enjoy 30 kilometers of groomed trails around the ranch. Sing a song of "Jingle Bells" as you head out on a sleigh ride with Zig and Zag, the Percheron team or saddle up and explore a winter wonderland on a horseback ride. Take a cooking class with Chef Robert and embark on a culinary adventure or enjoy a wine tasting class and improve both your technique and wine vocabulary.
Just like in the summer, Vista Verde Ranch offers some unique programs for the youngsters set to get the most out of a western winter vacation. From building snowmen and sledding down a hill to snowshoeing through the forest and riding horses through the snow - the winter fun is endless at Vista Verde Ranch.
Vista Verde style is first class, and friendly, whether guests select to stay in a private cabin or deluxe lodge room. The quiet, luxurious log cabins range from one to three bedrooms with living rooms, wood stoves and private hot tubs out on the deck. The deluxe, spacious lodge rooms are very convenient and have sitting areas, balconies and pleasing mountain views. Amenities include snack bars, coffee makers, hairdryers, plus much more.
